Variety Bash 2015 car 250

Hello Everyone!

I am writing to you as captain of Car 250 to request your support of our entry in the 2015 Variety Bash, raising funds for Variety - the Children’s Charity.

To be eligible to participate in the Variety Bash, our team is required to fundraise a minimum of $7,000 on behalf of Variety. We do this through the collection of donations, acquiring sponsors and by hosting fundraising events in our local community. Meals, accommodation, fuel and other personal items required during the Variety Bash are fully funded by us, and not by any money that we fundraise.

So far we have received over $9,000 in pledges and donations from such generous supporters as,

·         CJD Equipment Pty Ltd , MPS Paving Systems Australia Pty Ltd , LSA Partners Pty Ltd, Tooradin Tractor Pull Association, Leale Financial Services Pty Ltd

In addition, we have received some great non cash support from many local traders in the reconstruction of our old car to bring it up to Bash safety standards. These supporters include,

·         RMC Offroad, Burson Auto Parts Pakenham, Southeast Engineering, GJS Equipment Pty Ltd, Glenden (Aust) Pty Ltd, Lubegistics Pty Ltd, Petrogas, B.O.C. Tyres, Ultimate Radiators Berwick, Battery Zone Berwick & Pakenham

We’d like to request your support by making a donation to our Variety Bash car your donation will go towards assisting children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs and all donations over $2.00 receive a tax deductible receipt.

You can make a donation very easily right here https://varietyvicbash.everydayhero.com/au/car250

If you would like your business donation acknowledged on the car, contact me for further particulars.

Variety provides individuals and organisations with equipment that improves the quality of life of thousands of children with special needs. Items such as wheelchairs, communications devices, prosthetic limbs, Sunshine Coaches and Liberty Swings are granted by Variety each year. With no government funding it is through the generosity of the community that enables Variety to impact the lives of 25,000 Victorian children a year.

The Variety Bash originally started in 1985 by adventurer and entrepreneur Dick Smith, who took a few mates for a road trip in the Australian outback. Since 1992 the Variety Bash has covered over

100,000 kilometres and has raised over $20 million for children in Victoria.

By helping to support this amazing event, you will be instrumental in helping bring sunshine into the lives of many Victorian children. Your support of Variety Bash Car 250 is much appreciated.

Thank you for your time and consideration and I look forward to your response.

Kind regards,
